Welcome to Nicky's homepage!

Nicky is my second dog, he is a Manchester Terrier, and he's born on the 13th of July 2003 (no, not on a friday, it was a sunday! :-)). I brought him home from Drammen in September.

When my first dog Quinto died, I spent a few years considering getting a new dog, and what breed I should choose. I wanted a physically less demanding dog, because I have arthritis, and I'm not always fit for long walks every day.

Looking in to different breeds, I read about the Manchester Terrier, and it caught my interest straight away. This breed is thought to be one of the founding breeds that lead to the Dobermann. They are happy to go for long walks, but just as happy spending the day in a good chair, (hehe)

 

 

 

 

Nicky is the sweetest little puppy, very well behaved (most of the time ;-))
And he's a quick learner! We are training with a clicker, not too many exercises yet, but he picks it up really fast :-)
